During the discussions, updates were provided on the efforts and progress made by different agencies involved in addressing this pressing issue. The Survivor Support, Empowerment, Society and Culture Working Group, along with the Industry and Technology Response Working Group, shared their ongoing initiatives, highlighting both the challenges encountered by frontline partners and strategies for improving prevention, reporting, and response efforts.
The Minister expressed gratitude for the dedication shown in tackling online child exploitation and reiterated the Government’s commitment to enhancing the safety of children in digital environments. He emphasized the need for a coordinated national approach, urging agencies to collaborate effectively to ensure timely and comprehensive protection measures are in place.
