Fiji will proudly host the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant next year, making its return to the nation for the first time since 2009. This exciting news was announced by Ana Tuiketei, Pageant Director and Board Director, during the vibrant Hibiscus Festival in Suva. To gear up for this prestigious event, the Miss Fiji Pageant will also be held, featuring Miss Hibiscus 2025, NFA Ryelle Aisea, who will represent Suva.
Fiji has a rich history of success in the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant, with three Fijians – Mere Nailatikau, Alisi Rabukawaqa, and Anne Dunn – taking home the crown in 2009, 2011, and 2016, respectively. These remarkable women have gone on to excel in various fields, exemplifying how the pageant empowers women and highlights Pacific talent on a global platform.
Hosting the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant not only enhances Fiji’s cultural heritage and exceptional hospitality but also casts a positive spotlight on the region. This event serves as a vital platform to celebrate the diversity and beauty of the Pacific Islands, fostering connections and unity among participants. It showcases the incredible talent of contestants from across the region, inspiring both spectators and future participants. The upcoming event is expected to captivate a wide audience and further affirm Fiji’s leadership in the cultural and social realms of the Pacific.
