Fiji Set to Host Miss Pacific Islands 2026 in Nadi

Fiji is set to host the 2026 Miss Pacific Islands Pageant, marking a significant return to the competition after a seven-year absence. The announcement was made by the Minister for Local Government and Housing, Maciu Nalumisa, during the media launch for the Miss Fiji and Miss Pacific Islands pageants.

The upcoming event is scheduled to take place in Nadi from February 13 to 20, 2026. This not only illustrates Fiji’s renewed commitment to the pageant but also highlights its ambition to showcase the country’s rich cultural heritage and warm hospitality.

Participants in the local pageants will compete for the title of Miss Fiji in a week-long event commencing on December 8, 2025. The winner of Miss Fiji will then represent the nation at the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant later in 2026.

The return of Fiji to the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant provides a platform for empowering young women across the Pacific region, celebrating their intelligence, talent, and leadership. This event is expected to foster connections among the Pacific nations, showcasing the beautiful diversity of the islands and bringing positive attention to the region.

As the first major pageant the island nation will host in several years, the excitement is palpable, both locally and regionally, paving the way for a vibrant and empowering atmosphere that benefits not only participants but their communities as well. Fiji’s participation in this prestigious pageant promises to engage and inspire future generations, promoting both cultural pride and regional unity.
