Former Fiji rugby star Joeli Veitayaki has sadly passed away in New Zealand, leaving a profound sense of loss within the rugby community. Originating from Yaroi Village on Matuku, he was affectionately remembered by family as a legend who exemplified love and humility.

He later joined the St. John’s-Marist Club and subsequently represented Suva as part of the Police team.
