The finalists in the Skipper senior men’s, under-20, and Subrails Marama Cup competitions have secured their spots after fierce semi-final battles held yesterday.
In the senior men’s category, Naitasiri will face Malolo in the final. Naitasiri fought hard to defeat Tailevu with a tight score of 31-26, while Malolo secured their place by overcoming Nadi 31-19. This matchup will not only pit the highlanders against the maritime challenge but will also serve as a full-circle reunion for both teams, as they previously clashed in August, where Naitasiri prevailed 39-16.
As they prepare for the final, Naitasiri is keen to add another trophy to their accolades after successfully defending the Inkk Farebrother Trophy this month.
