In the boys’ U14 division, Nasinu secured the championship by narrowly defeating Rewa with a 1-0 scoreline. Despite Rewa’s credentials as favorites—having remained undefeated in the group stages—they were unable to turn opportunities into goals. Nasinu, however, executed a well-structured defensive strategy complemented by effective counterattacks, which ultimately led them to triumph.
Leading up to the final, Rewa advanced to the championship match with a hard-fought 1-0 win against Seaqaqa, while Nasinu also progressed by defeating Ba by the same margin. The final showcased Nasinu’s tactical discipline and resilience in high-stakes moments.
In the girls’ U14 division, Labasa emerged victorious, defeating Ba with a thrilling 2-1 finish. The match saw both teams level at 1-1 by the end of regular time, but Labasa sealed their victory with a winning goal in the final moments of extra time, igniting celebrations among their supporters.
