Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu has initiated an investigation by the Internal Affairs Department into officers stationed at Nausori Police Station following allegations of assault that surfaced in a social media video. This development comes as a response to claims that have raised significant concern regarding the behavior of the police officers involved.

Commissioner Tudravu characterized these claims as deeply troubling and confirmed that a thorough examination of all related accusations into the officers’ conduct will be conducted.
