In a coordinated operation conducted on September 23, 2025, the Fiji Police Force’s Serious Organised Crime & Intelligence Department, along with the Fiji Detector Dog Unit, Police Mobile Force, and Fiji Immigration Department, apprehended seven individuals. These arrests took place following raids in Flagstaff and Rewa Street. Among those detained, one is a Fijian national while the remaining six are foreign nationals.
During the raids, authorities seized white substances that were later confirmed by the Fiji Police Forensics Science Services to be methamphetamine. In addition, local and foreign currencies, presumed to be proceeds from criminal activities, were also confiscated. As investigations continue, the suspects remain in custody for further questioning.
