The Prime Minister of Fiji, Sitiveni Rabuka, has journeyed to New Zealand for a routine medical evaluation concerning a previous rugby injury. Accompanying him on this trip is his personal physician, Dr. Om Prasad. During Prime Minister Rabuka’s absence, the responsibilities of the prime ministerial role will be temporarily assumed by Hon. Filimoni Vosarogo, the Minister for Lands and Mineral Resources. This arrangement ensures a continuity of leadership while the Prime Minister attends to his health matters. As he addresses his medical needs, it is a reminder of the importance of taking care of one’s health, regardless of the demands of leadership.
