The Dayal’s Sawmillers National Club Championship 2025 final play-offs have been officially announced, marking an exciting conclusion to this year’s football season. Six of the top club teams from around the country have earned their spots in the national finals after successful performances in the zonal playoffs held last week.
The championship is set to take place from Thursday, December 11, to Sunday, December 14, at the Fiji FA Academy Ground in Vatuwaqa. Fiji Football Association Chief Executive Officer Mohammed Yusuf highlighted the significance of the tournament, emphasizing the strong representation from all major districts and remarking, “The NCC would close out an exciting year of football.”
While some teams may face challenges with a few players having signed professional contracts with Bula FC and unable to participate in the final rounds, Yusuf noted that this development reflects the strength of the country’s football talent development pathway.
The tournament will feature two matches each on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, leading up to the final on Sunday at 1 p.m. The champions of this year’s tournament will receive a prize of $4,000, with the runner-up taking home $1,500. This promising event not only showcases top-tier football but also highlights the growth and competitiveness within Fiji’s football scene, offering fans an exciting finish to the season.
