A man accused of murdering his wife amid a heated argument has appeared in the Suva Magistrates Court. Taione Kotoyawa Senikaucava, 39, faces a charge of murder stemming from an incident that allegedly took place last Saturday in Veisari. Reports suggest that following the altercation, Senikaucava transported his wife’s body to the Totogo Police Station.
The seriousness of the charges has led to the case being transferred to the High Court for further proceedings. The court hearing has been adjourned until the 17th of this month, allowing time for the legal process to unfold.
