During their first day in Singapore, they were introduced to a comprehensive waste management system regulated by the National Environment Agency, which oversees the collection, treatment, and disposal of waste, supported by rigorous policies, operational standards, and community engagement.
The delegation participated in industry sessions that featured insights from Circular Unite, a local start-up known for its innovative digital tools and artificial intelligence solutions aimed at improving waste management processes.
