The Ministry of Health and Medical Services has shared details regarding the funeral arrangements for the late Permanent Secretary, Dr. Jemesa Tudravu, inviting friends, colleagues, and the public to pay their respects. A condolence book will be made available starting tomorrow at 10 AM in the Dinem House Conference Room, located on the third floor, for those who wish to leave written tributes.

A memorial church service is scheduled for Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 2 PM at the Vodafone Arena, primarily for staff of the Ministry of Health. Following this, a traditional gathering, known as the reguregu, will take place at Dr. Tudravu’s residence on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at Quarters 58, Amy Street in Suva.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, commencing at 9 AM at the Centenary Methodist Church in Suva, after which burial will occur at the Lovonilase Cemetery.

The Ministry has expressed its gratitude for the tremendous support received during this time, highlighting Dr. Tudravu’s dedicated commitment to enhancing health services and the well-being of the Fijian people, a legacy that will be fondly remembered.
