The Prime Minister has revealed a Cabinet reshuffle set to take effect on January 19, 2026, as the Coalition Government moves into its fourth year in office. This strategic adjustment is intended to enhance governance and ensure better management of ministerial responsibilities within the current administration.

Significant appointments within the reshuffle include Sakiasi Ditoka, who will assume the role of Minister for Foreign Affairs and External Trade, and Mosese Bulitavu, who is tasked with overseeing Rural and Maritime Development and Disaster Management. Lynda Tabuya will take on responsibilities as the Minister for Information, Environment and Climate Change, while Charan Jeath Singh will serve as the Minister for Public Enterprises, Multi-Ethnic Affairs, Culture, Heritage, and Arts.

Additionally, Ifereimi Vasu has been appointed to manage iTaukei Affairs, and Tomasi Tunabuna will handle the Agriculture and Sugar Industry portfolios. The Prime Minister will continue to oversee Civil Service and Strategic Planning, as well as National Development and Statistics. Sachida Nand has been reassigned as the Assistant Minister for Commerce and Business Development.
