Among them, players such as Waqa Blake, Samuela Fainu, Sione Fainu, Jordin Leiu, Meli Nasau, and Sydney Roosters center Mark Nawaqanitawase will not be in the lineup. Nawaqanitawase’s omission is significant, as he has been selected by the Australian Kangaroos for the 2025 Ashes Tour against England, despite being part of the original Fiji Bati extended squad.
Head coach Wise Kativerata is collaborating closely with prop forward and captain Tui Kamikamica, who is currently assessing his options following the expiration of his contract with the Melbourne Storm.
