Fiji and the Republic of the Marshall Islands have reinforced their commitment to regional cooperation through bilateral discussions held on the sidelines of the Pacific Community Conference in Tonga. Fiji’s Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs, Lenora Qereqeretabua, and Marshall Islands Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Kalani Kaneko, engaged in talks aimed at enhancing their mutual relationship under the Pacific Vuvale spirit.
The dialogue focused on strengthening ties via initiatives such as training programs, people-to-people exchanges, and economic collaboration established under a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Development Cooperation.
