Mr. Scurrah notably applauded the Fiji Airways team for its achievements at the recent APEX Awards in Singapore, where the airline was recognized for Best Cabin Service and Best Food & Beverage in the South Pacific for 2026, determined by over one million verified passenger votes. He highlighted that such awards reflect the genuine warmth and authenticity Fijians are known for, resonating with guests around the globe.

Additionally, he reaffirmed his commitment to lead with humility, safety, and respect, promising that safety would always remain a priority. “My promise is simple: safety will always come first.
