The club has made significant strides in enhancing physical accessibility. For instance, its official stores have introduced inclusive mannequins that represent diverse body types, including those with wheelchairs, prosthetics, cochlear implants, and glasses. Additionally, the Palau Blaugrana has inaugurated a dedicated seating area for wheelchair users, which includes seats for accompanying persons. To improve ticket purchasing experiences for individuals with reduced mobility, the club has implemented a new online sales system facilitating the acquisition of accessible seating.
In terms of sensory accessibility, FC Barcelona has made notable improvements to the Barça Immersive Tour for visitors with hearing and visual impairments. These enhancements include the installation of a magnetic loop, multimedia audio guides available via mobile phones, and noise-cancelling headphones for children with sensory sensitivities. The club’s museum has also introduced ‘Hores + Tranquil·les’ on Saturdays, providing a quieter environment for individuals with autism and sensory sensitivities, which features trained staff to assist visitors.
