A tragic motor vehicle accident claimed the life of a 32-year-old man in Wailekutu on Wednesday night. The incident occurred shortly after 10 PM as the man was riding his motorcycle toward Suva. Reports indicate that he collided with a vehicle whose 36-year-old driver made a sudden U-turn.
Emergency services promptly arrived at the scene and rushed the motorcyclist to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival by medical staff.
