In a recent interview with PEOPLE Magazine, Walton Goggins and showrunner Geneva Robertson-Dworet expressed their admiration for actor Jon Gries, who plays the character Biff in the upcoming season two of the apocalyptic drama, Fallout. Goggins reflected on their previous collaboration in HBO’s The White Lotus and emphasized Gries as the ideal choice for his new role.

“I’ve known Jon for a long time, and there was an opportunity for someone of his type to participate in this story,” Goggins stated, highlighting Gries’ perfect suitability for the character.

Robertson-Dworet echoed these sentiments, recognizing Gries not only for his on-screen talent but also for his endearing personality off-screen. “He is the sweetest man, and I think he really brought that to the role,” she noted, underscoring the importance of Gries’ genuine warmth in the casting process.

The executive producer elaborated, “We actually cast Jon just because he is such a profoundly empathetic person. You sort of adore him instantly, and that’s what we needed for that role in the NCR.”

The enthusiasm surrounding Gries’ casting reflects a deep appreciation for talent and character, ensuring that his portrayal will resonate with audiences as the series returns. Both Goggins and Robertson-Dworet feel privileged to have Gries as part of the Fallout family, promising an engaging season for fans of the show.
