Earlier today, Bethesda Game Studios hosted its Fallout Day Broadcast, revealing an array of thrilling announcements for the beloved Fallout franchise, even in the absence of a new game. A highlight of the broadcast was the unveiling of the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition, which is set to launch on November 10, coinciding with the game’s 10th anniversary.
The Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition will include an impressive 150 pieces of Creation Club content alongside the six official add-ons and Creations. Both console and PC users can look forward to even more engaging content. For those who already own Fallout 4, an Anniversary Upgrade will be available across all platforms. Additionally, subscribers to Game Pass and PlayStation Plus will benefit from access to the DLC and Creations content. Looking ahead, the Anniversary Edition is also set to be ported to Switch 2 in 2026, expanding its reach to a wider audience.
On October 23, fans can anticipate the Bethesda Gear Store’s preorders for the Fallout: New Vegas 15th Anniversary Bundle, exclusively for PC players. This bundle will feature a code for Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition, along with several collectible items including an 8-inch PVC statue of Victor, Doc Mitchell’s Evaluation Cards, a Vault Boy enamel pin, and themed patches. While it may not be the modern remaster that actor Danny Trejo has expressed a desire for, it offers a nostalgic glimpse into the franchise’s rich history.
In another exciting development, Fallout 76 is preparing to transition to the current console generation with new ports for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 expected in early 2026. In addition, players on PS4 and Xbox One will receive new optimizations. Before that, the Burning Springs update for Fallout 76 will debut on December 2, bringing back Walton Goggins, who will reprise his role as The Ghoul from the Fallout TV series, allowing players to engage in bounty hunting.
Meanwhile, the mobile title Fallout Shelter is set to introduce Seasons, featuring new limited-time Vaults distinct from players’ original Vaults. Each Season will come with its unique theme alongside fresh rewards and challenges to enhance player experience.
Finally, in a fun celebration for fans in Texas, the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League will host its second annual Fallout Night on Saturday, October 25, at the H-E-B Center in Cedar Park. Attendees can enjoy themed concessions, collectibles, and photo ops with Fallout cosplayers, making it a perfect occasion for fans to celebrate their favorite franchise.
These announcements highlight Bethesda’s commitment to enriching the Fallout universe and providing fans with new content and experiences to enjoy.
