“F1: The Thrilling Ride That’s Leaving Critics Speechless!”

Brad Pitt’s highly anticipated film “F1,” directed by Joseph Kosinski, has recently premiered to film critics, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, highlighting its intense action and stunning visuals. Critics have described the film as “action-packed,” praising the exceptional craftsmanship in areas like sound, score, and cinematography.

Jazz Tangcay, Variety’s senior artisans editor, emphasized the film’s flawless production elements, sharing an enthusiastic reaction on social media: “WOW! @F1Movie is an action-packed thrilling look at the world of F1 racing, with lots of grit.” She commended the performances of Pitt and co-star Damson Idris, stating she is “absolutely obsessed” with the movie.

Similarly, Clayton Davis, Variety’s chief awards editor, noted the impressive cinematography by Claudio Miranda, who previously garnered a BAFTA nomination for his work on “Top Gun: Maverick.” He urged the Academy to acknowledge Miranda’s exceptional talent in this film, praising the dynamic performances of the lead actors during their onscreen moments together.

Maude Garrett from The Nerdist described the film as “so freaking good,” expressing curiosity if her enjoyment would have increased had she been an F1 fan prior to viewing. She commented on the film’s adrenaline-pumping action, heart, pacing, and character development, stating it elevates the movie to excellence.

In “F1,” Pitt stars as Sonny Hayes, a retired Formula One driver who is coaxed out of retirement to train a rookie driver played by Idris for the Apex Grand Prix. Kosinski’s inspiration for the film came from watching Netflix’s documentary series “Drive to Survive,” which focuses on the underdog teams in F1 racing, providing a fresh narrative perspective within the high-octane world of motorsport.

The filmmakers filmed on location during actual F1 races, capturing authentic crowds and creating a realistic experience. Kosinski recounted the challenges of filming in such a dynamic environment, where the stakes were high, and timing was crucial.

Set to hit theaters on June 27, “F1” promises to be a thrilling cinematic experience for both racing fans and moviegoers. With a mix of star power and gripping storytelling, it stands out as a film poised to entertain a new generation of audiences.
