The Unbound Collection by Hyatt has officially launched its first property in Shanghai, China, with the opening of Mumian Shanghai Expo. This waterfront hotel embodies the concept of a “secret garden mansion” and showcases a unique blend of classic Shanghai architectural features and modern luxury.
The hotel, developed in collaboration with Shenzhen Yuen Kai Hotel Management Co., is situated in a prime location near the Shanghai Expo area, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. It promises guests an authentic Haipai cultural experience through its thoughtfully designed spaces.
Mumian Shanghai Expo comprises 332 elegantly appointed guestrooms, suites, and serviced residences, with many providing spectacular vistas of the Huangpu River and the iconic Lujiazui skyline. The design incorporates clean lines, warm textures, and plenty of natural light, creating an inviting atmosphere that harmonizes sophisticated comfort with local aesthetics.
Heidi Tang, the General Manager of Mumian Shanghai Expo, expressed her enthusiasm for the hotel’s unique concept, stating, “Mumian Shanghai Expo beautifully blends Shanghai’s rich heritage with contemporary sophistication.”
