Tomorrow, February 27th, marks Pokémon Day, a special occasion filled with exciting happenings for fans. This year, the celebration includes the annual Pokémon Presents event, the release of Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen on the Nintendo Switch eShop, and the highly anticipated launch of LEGO’s first wave of Pokémon sets.
Particularly noteworthy is the introduction of the Mini Pokémon Center set, a unique offering for LEGO Insiders members. This 233-piece set, designed for adult Pokémon enthusiasts aged 18 and older, allows fans to recreate an iconic element from the video games. The Mini Pokémon Center features sliding doors that operate with lever functions, along with a healing station, seating area, and PC, making it a charming collector’s item and a delightful addition to any room.
Available exclusively through the LEGO Insiders loyalty program, the Mini Pokémon Center will be redeemable for 2,500 LEGO Insiders points. Members can earn these points by making purchases from LEGO, either online or in-store, or by scanning QR codes found in the instruction booklets of sets they already own. Each set typically awards a different number of points, with more expensive sets yielding higher rewards.
To register previously purchased sets and claim their points, users can visit the LEGO website or use the LEGO Insiders mobile app. However, sets bought before 2018 or those without QR codes cannot be registered.
Once members accumulate the required points, they can access the Pokémon Center set through the Rewards tab in their Insiders account. The set will be available tomorrow, February 27th, but given its exclusivity, it is expected to sell out quickly. This exciting release not only celebrates Pokémon Day but also fosters a deeper sense of community among LEGO and Pokémon fans alike.
