HBO’s acclaimed teen drama “Euphoria” is gearing up for its third season, which may be its last, with a notable ensemble cast that welcomes 18 newly announced actors. Among these new faces are Bella Podaras, Bill Bodner, Cailyn Rice, Colleen Camp, Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth, Gideon Adlon, Hemky Madera, Homer Gere, Jack Topalian, Jessica Blair Herman, Kwame Patterson, Madison Thompson, Matthew Willig, Natasha Lyonne, Rebecca Pidgeon, Sam Trammell, and Trisha Paytas.

Returning to the series are original cast members including Alanna Ubach, Daeg Faerch, Dominic Fike, Melvin Bonez Estes, Nika King, Paula Marshall, Sophia Rose Wilson, and Zak Steiner, alongside previously confirmed stars Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, and Colman Domingo.

Moreover, some other notable newcomers have been revealed, such as Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Toby Wallace, Sharon Stone, Rosalía, Marshawn Lynch, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Kadeem Hardison, Priscilla Delgado, James Landry Hébert, Anna Van Patten, and Asante Blackk.

Produced by Sam Levinson, the upcoming eight-episode season promises a significant time jump, propelling the characters beyond their high school years. Filming is currently underway in Los Angeles, supported by a $19.4 million tax credit from the state of California. The anticipated release for Season 3 is set for 2026, marking a substantial four-year gap since Season 2 concluded.

Francesca Orsi, HBO’s head of drama, indicated in February that while discussions about the series’ conclusion have taken place, nothing is finalized until it officially airs. She expressed optimism about the season’s upcoming narrative, suggesting fans will be pleased with how the characters’ stories are resolved.

“Euphoria,” which has garnered critical acclaim and a total of 25 Emmy nominations, of which it won nine, remains one of HBO’s most-watched series. Notably, Zendaya has twice won the Emmy for Best Actress in a Drama, with Colman Domingo also receiving recognition as Best Guest Actor in a Drama. Levinson has also been recognized with a DGA Award for the emotionally charged Season 2 episode “Stand Still Like the Hummingbird.”

As fans await further details, an exciting first-look image from the new season featuring Danielle Deadwyler has been released, fueling anticipation for what promises to be an impactful conclusion to the beloved series.
