The highly anticipated third season of HBO’s “Euphoria” is shaping up with the addition of 18 new cast members, enhancing its already renowned ensemble. Among the newcomers are well-known figures such as Trisha Paytas, Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler, and Eli Roth. The show, created by Sam Levinson, is set to return in spring 2026 with eight new episodes.

In addition to those joining the cast, the series will see familiar faces return, including Alanna Ubach (Suze), Daeg Faerch (Mitch), Melvin Bonez Estes (Bruce), Paula Marshall (Marsha), Sophia Rose Wilson (BB), and Zak Steiner (Aaron). Notably, Dominic Fike will reprise his role as Elliot, a character known for his drug use and musical talent. Nika King, who portrays Rue’s mother Leslie, will also be back in Season 3 after earlier concerns over her participation due to production delays.

The series continues to attract A-list stars, with returning actors Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, and Colman Domingo just to name a few. Additional newcomers previously announced include Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Toby Wallace, Sharon Stone, Rosalía, Marshawn Lynch, and more.

The production team has also expanded, bringing onboard the distinguished costume designer Colleen Atwood, known for her four Academy Awards, along with Natasha Newman-Thomas as costume designer and Francois Audouy as production designer. The music for Season 3 will be scored by renowned composer Hans Zimmer, while Labrinth, who provided the soundtrack for the first two seasons, will also return to continue his work on the series.

While the show’s future looks bright, not all familiar characters will be returning. Notably, Austin Abrams and Algee Smith will not be part of the cast, and Storm Reid has confirmed that her character, Gia, will not appear in Season 3. Additionally, the series mourns the loss of Angus Cloud, who played the beloved character Fezco and passed away earlier this year.

“Euphoria” dives deep into the lives of high school students navigating complex issues like addiction, social dynamics, and familial struggles. Its impressive reception includes 25 Emmy nominations and nine wins, confirming its status as HBO’s most-watched show without fantasy elements. Season 3 is currently in production in Los Angeles, promising an exciting return for fans as the anticipation builds amidst earlier production delays.
