ESPN personalities Joe Buck and Malika Andrews are set to showcase their talents in a new arena as they take on guest hosting duties on ABC’s “Good Morning America.” According to reports, Malika Andrews will co-host the morning talk show this Saturday and Sunday, followed by an appearance on the GMA3 digital program next Monday. Joe Buck will also be stepping in as a guest host from July 23-25.

Michael Strahan and Robin Roberts, two of the regular hosts of “Good Morning America,” bring their own sports backgrounds to the show, enhancing its appeal to sports fans. Strahan is a former defensive end and a member of the Giants Ring of Honor, while Roberts has previously hosted several ESPN programs.

Both Buck and Andrews have demonstrated versatility throughout their careers. Andrews has progressed from a reporter to the host of “NBA on ESPN,” while Buck is known for covering football and baseball as well as having a brief stint as a guest host on “Jeopardy!” back in 2021.

There could be more familiar faces from ESPN appearing on “Good Morning America” in the future. Elle Duncan, who leads “SportsCenter,” and Laura Rutledge, the host of “NFL Live,” are rumored to be potential guest hosts of the popular morning show.

This development underscores the growing crossover between sports media and mainstream television, as networks look to capitalize on the popularity of sports personalities in morning programming. Fans of both ESPN and “Good Morning America” are likely to welcome these fresh contributions to the show’s dynamic.
