Head Coach Eran Ganot will be hosting the annual Coaches vs. Cancer mixer on Saturday, November 15, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at the Ed Wong Hospitality Suite in the Stan Sheriff Center. This year’s event celebrates the OUTRIGGER Rainbow Classic, recognized as the longest-running preseason college basketball tournament in the nation, while also aiming to raise crucial funds in the ongoing battle against cancer.
The mixer will provide attendees with the opportunity to connect with coaches and fellow supporters, accompanied by a selection of pupus and beverages. The evening is set to feature a variety of exciting prizes and activities, all designed to enhance community engagement and support a vital cause.
Proceeds from the mixer will go directly to the American Cancer Society’s T.C. Ching Hope Lodge, which offers free accommodations to cancer patients and their caregivers undergoing life-saving treatments in O’ahu. Thanks to Coach Ganot’s leadership, Coaches vs. Cancer Hawai’i has raised over $200,000 since 2017, significantly aiding the Hope Lodge Hawai’i.
Individuals and sponsors looking to participate can purchase tickets, which also include access to the Rainbow Classic tournament.
