Epic Gameplay Reveals Light Up Gamescom 2024!

Gamescom, a highly anticipated gaming convention, has kicked off with its Opening Night Live showcase, marking the start of an exciting chapter in the gaming world. Following last year’s highlights like Mortal Kombat 1 and Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, this year’s event promises even larger announcements.

Among the major reveals at Gamescom 2024 are the eagerly awaited Borderlands 4 and Civilization VII. Here’s a comprehensive summary of what has been showcased so far.

Borderlands 4 was announced with a teaser trailer, although specific details about the game remain scarce. Developer Gearbox confirmed its existence and indicated a 2025 release date, following a lackluster reception to the recent Borderlands movie.

The developers at Techland introduced Dying Light: The Beast, which is set to be a smaller game rather than typical story DLC for Dying Light 2. Expected to offer around 20 hours of gameplay in a new open world filled with parkour and zombies, the game will feature a four-player co-op mode and is priced at $40. A release date is still pending, but it will be available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.

Civilization VII is officially on its way, with the game scheduled to launch on February 11, 2024, for Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series consoles, and PC. Gameplay footage was revealed, showcasing the expected turn-based strategy gameplay.

The gameplay reveal for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle indicated a release on December 9 for Xbox Series and PC, while also surprising fans with the announcement that it will come to PS5 in spring 2025.
