Entrepreneur Bobby George Faces Shocking Charges: What You Need to Know

Bobby George, a 43-year-old entrepreneur from Lakewood, Ohio, has been charged with multiple serious offenses including attempted murder, four counts of kidnapping, two counts of strangulation, as well as one count each of rape and felony assault. The charges were filed in Cleveland Municipal Court on Friday.

George, who owns several restaurants in Cleveland and Columbus, including TownHall and REBoL, is also the founder of Ethos Hospitality Group, a company focused on hospitality and marketing. He has been recognized as a successful businessman, having holdings in over 40 businesses and plans for further expansion in the restaurant industry.

The allegations against George stem from incidents reported between November 2023 and July of the current year, with a report made to the police on August 9. According to reports, he turned himself in after a warrant was issued for his arrest. Claims against him include instances of violence towards a woman, including strangulation and threats with a firearm, as well as an accusation of rape.

In addition to his restaurant ventures, George recently announced plans for a large entertainment complex in Cleveland’s Flats East Bank, which is set to start construction within the year.

Bobby George comes from a politically active family, with his father, Tony George, involved in the controversy surrounding House Bill 6 and FirstEnergy. This scandal involved significant bribery claims tied to political maneuvering in Ohio. The George family has also been noted for their support of Republican candidates, hosting various fundraising events for political figures in the state.
