Rapper Eminem has shared the news that his daughter Hailie Jade is expecting a child, revealed in a heartfelt music video dedicated to their bond.
In the video for his song “Temporary,” Eminem embraces a new role as a grandfather, announcing Hailie’s pregnancy. The footage includes cherished home videos dating back to 1999, snapshots of the father-daughter pair, and clips from Hailie’s wedding in May, all set to the emotional track released on Thursday.
One memorable moment shows Hailie presenting Eminem with a jersey featuring the name “Grandpa” and the number 1. She also shares ultrasound images, capturing his surprised reaction.
Shortly after the video was made public, Hailie confirmed the news on Instagram, captioning her post, “Mom & dad est. 2025.”
Eminem’s representatives have not yet responded to inquiries regarding the announcement.
“Temporary,” included in his recent album “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce),” delivers a poignant message to Hailie, assuring her of his presence even after his passing. “I’m watchin’ you right now, baby girl, I vow/I will protect you, your guardian angel,” he sings in the track, released in July.
Known for his affection towards Hailie, Eminem has often highlighted her in his music, crafting full tributes such as “Hailie’s Song” and “Mockingbird.”
