AXS TV is set to celebrate Elvis Week with a special tribute featuring a lineup of classic films showcasing the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. From August 11th to August 17th, the network will air a series of beloved Elvis movies each day at 4 pm ET, capturing the essence of his legendary performances and charisma.

The tribute kicks off on August 11th with “G.I. Blues,” marking Elvis as a young serviceman trying to win over a dancer in this 1960 classic. The festivities continue with “Easy Come, Easy Go” on August 12th, followed by the biker film “Roustabout” on August 13th, which features veteran actress Barbara Stanwyck alongside early roles from Raquel Welch and Teri Garr.

As part of the week, fans can also enjoy the iconic “Blue Hawaii” on August 15th, which includes a memorable performance from Angela Lansbury. The tribute will honor Elvis’ enduring legacy with a special screening of “Fun in Acapulco” on August 16th, coinciding with the 48th anniversary of his passing. The celebration will wrap up with “Frankie and Johnny” airing again on August 17th.

This annual tribute not only showcases the extensive film catalog of Elvis Presley but also aims to unite fans in remembrance and appreciation of his impact on music and culture. With this exciting week lined up, viewers are encouraged to tune in to relive some of the greatest moments of Elvis’s cinematic career.
