The Phoenix had an impressive fall season, finishing with a total of 64 victories split between singles and doubles matches. With 48 wins in singles and 16 in doubles, the team showcased its talent and determination on the court. Notably, during the Wake Forest Invite from October 31 to November 2, the Phoenix continued to build on this success.

Earlier in the season, Elon achieved a strong performance at the ITA Regionals held at Cary Tennis Park from October 16 to 19, where the team secured 11 victories in both singles and doubles matches. The athletes exhibited their skills and teamwork, reflecting the hard work put into their training.

The Phoenix also participated in the Liberty Dual from September 26 to 28, where they earned a total of 17 victories—14 in singles and 3 in doubles. Standouts included Krstic, who maintained an impressive 3-0 record in singles and achieved a 2-1 mark in doubles during the event.

Elon’s fall campaign kicked off with the Elon Invitational at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center from September 12 to 14. The team performed exceptionally well, accumulating 18 wins with 15 in singles and 3 in doubles. Antinheimo led the way, finishing the home tournament with a remarkable five victories across both doubles and singles. Alongside partner Krstic, he secured two doubles wins and added three singles victories to his record. Curtis also shined, winning three consecutive singles matches at Elon’s inaugural event of the season.

Overall, the Phoenix’s strong performance this fall sets a positive tone for future competitions, showing both individual excellence and cohesiveness as a team. Their hard work and dedication indicate a promising path ahead for the season.
