Elevate Your Impact: Join the RCPA Conference Call for Proposals!

The 2025 RCPA Annual Conference titled “Striving to Thrive” is set to take place from September 9 to 12 at the Hershey Lodge, catering to a statewide audience. The Conference Committee is currently inviting workshop proposals across various domains, particularly those aimed at supporting providers in delivering high-quality, consistent, and effective treatments amid ongoing industry changes.

Proposals are sought that cover a wide range of relevant topics, including:

– Strategies for fostering a committed workforce, encompassing recruitment, employee development, and effective practices for remote teams.
– Innovative ideas for organizations aspiring to establish themselves as leaders in their respective fields.
– Insights into the latest policies, research, and treatment methodologies, such as the integration of artificial intelligence and technology in service delivery.
– Skills and information vital to individual and organizational leadership development.
– Discussions surrounding advanced ethics practices and suicide prevention methods.
– Analysis of system changes impacting business practices, which includes integrated care strategies, value-based purchasing, performance-based contracting, acquisitions, mergers, and alternative payment models.
– Organizational strategies for adapting to performance-based contracting requirements.

The committee strongly encourages submissions from speakers with expertise in the areas of rehabilitation, mental health, addiction, children’s health, aging, physical disabilities, and intellectual/developmental disabilities, including autism.

Prospective presenters are urged to review the Call for Proposals, which includes a comprehensive list of focus areas and detailed submission guidelines. The deadline for submitting proposals is set for Friday, March 14, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Proposals must be submitted electronically using the designated form; confirmations of receipt will follow. Late submissions may not be considered.

Accepted proposals will require presenters to be ready to present on any day during the conference. Workshops will vary in length, lasting either 90 or 180 minutes. Presenters must also ensure that workshop handouts are submitted electronically two weeks prior to the conference. Those unable to meet this requirement are advised not to submit proposals.

Individuals are welcome to submit multiple proposals, and notifications regarding inclusion in the conference will be communicated via email by Friday, May 9, 2025. Questions regarding the submission process can be directed to Carol Ferenz, the Conference Coordinator.

This conference presents a valuable opportunity for professionals in the field to share knowledge and strategies for enhancing service delivery and organizational effectiveness. Emphasizing collaboration and continuous improvement, the event seeks to unite professionals dedicated to advancing practices in rehabilitation and mental health care.
