With this win, East Liverpool improves its record to 2-2, while Beaver Local falls to 1-2. The Potters established an early lead of 17-5 in the first quarter and extended it to 32-9 by halftime. Cate Davis contributed significantly to the win as well, adding 11 points.

For Beaver Local, Lora Reeder was the top scorer with six points, followed by Tori Druschel with five. In the junior varsity matchup, Beaver Local claimed a victory over East Liverpool’s junior team with a score of 33-16, thanks to Lilly Wright’s seven points.

In other matchups, Columbiana continued its impressive start to the season, improving to 4-0 after a 58-31 win over Jackson-Milton. Megan Moser shone with 20 points, contributing to a balanced team effort where four different players have led in scoring in their first four games.

Southern Local also excelled, defeating Toronto 48-33, led by Allyssa Shroades with an impressive all-around performance of 13 points and multiple assists and rebounds. Edison improved to 3-0 by besting Wellsville 55-34, propelled by Sophia Henderson’s 19-point performance.

West Branch dominated Struthers in a commanding 51-19 victory, with Tallie Muniz leading the team with 10 points.
