A new book titled “Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York” reveals that the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, once harbored romantic feelings for professional golfer Tiger Woods. According to author Andrew Lownie, Ferguson shared with journalist Piers Morgan that she found Woods to be “gorgeous” and even traveled 1,500 miles to meet him.

The book, which includes a series of revelations, outlines how the Duchess created a list of potential romantic interests after her separation from Prince Andrew. Notable figures on this list included John F. Kennedy Jr., the son of the late President. Although an expected meeting with Kennedy Jr. did not materialize, the Duchess did manage to build a friendship with Woods.

Photos from 1997 show Ferguson embracing Woods after his significant victory at the Byron Nelson tournament in Texas, marking one of Woods’ early successes on the PGA Tour. More recently, Ferguson publicly celebrated Woods’ triumph at the Masters in 2019, declaring on Instagram how proud she was of him and praising his loyal character as a steadfast friend.

This insight into the Duchess’s romantic aspirations sheds light on her life post-royalty and underscores continuing friendships that transcend her past affiliations. While her romantic endeavors may have been personal, her loyalty to friends like Woods remains evident and serves as a reminder of the connections we maintain amid public and private life challenges.
