As part of the annual celebration of UAE Flag Day, Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, has once again unveiled the stunning UAE Flag Garden at Umm Suqeim Beach, adjacent to the Burj Al Arab. This year, the garden is open to visitors from November 3, 2025, until January 10, 2026, inviting residents and tourists alike to appreciate a remarkable tribute to the nation’s Founding Fathers.
The Flag Garden boasts an impressive display of over 11,500 UAE flags, meticulously arranged to form a tribute to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the revered leaders who played a crucial role in establishing the UAE. When viewed from above, the layout distinctly captures the likenesses of these founding figures, allowing visitors to engage with the nation’s heritage in a unique and visual way.
UAE Flag Day is celebrated annually on November 3, commemorating the date in 2004 when Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan became President of the UAE. Initiated in 2013 by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, this national campaign is designed to honor the country’s history while inspiring a sense of unity and pride across the nation.
The colors of the UAE flag carry significant meanings: red represents the sacrifices made by previous generations, green denotes growth and prosperity, white signifies charitable contributions and a commitment to peace, and black reflects strength and determination.
