We then showcased our attacking prowess, with Fofana taking a shot in the 15th minute that narrowly missed the target. Leão continued to create chances, and in the 28th minute, Pulisic was stopped by Mignolet after receiving a pass from Leão. The 33rd minute saw good interplay between Theo and Leão, but Ordóñez managed to block the Frenchman’s shot. However, we broke the deadlock from a corner, with Pulisic delivering a stunning ball that Gabbia couldn’t quite connect with at the crossbar, resulting in a 1-0 lead. The situation worsened for Club Brugge as Onyedika received a straight red card for a tackle on Reijnders in the 40th minute.
