Vincent Carmona Arias, widely known as El Dotol Nastra, has shared his excitement about the upcoming second season of La Casa de Alofoke. Speaking from Santo Domingo, the influencer expressed his immense pride in having emerged from humble beginnings to achieve significant milestones, which he attributes to the hard work of his team alongside Santiago Matías, the CEO of Alofoke Media Group.
Reflecting on his journey, Dotol Nastra emphasized the limitations faced while growing up in the neighborhood, where opportunities were scarce. He felt an overwhelming sense of achievement in reaching diverse audiences and making a substantial impact. “When you come from the barrio, you are born with closed doors. Achieving so much and connecting with a wide audience is a tremendous accomplishment,” he stated emotionally.
Looking ahead to the new season, he noted that expectations are more fluid than during the first season, which exceeded all predictions. He recounted how, just before the initial airing, over 300,000 viewers were already tuned in, prompting a wave of excitement and nervousness among the team.
The production of the second season promises increased investment and meticulous preparation. While exact costs are still unfolding due to ongoing expenses for artist payments and event logistics, Dotol Nastra assures that improvements have been made across all facets of the show. “We reviewed everything: from the exclusive stage for artists to the logistics for participants and various game dynamics,” he elaborated, demonstrating the team’s commitment to enhancing the viewer experience.
He took the opportunity to express gratitude to the Dominican people, showcasing the collective pride in the project as a representation of their culture and music. “People from the streets of the Dominican Republic are excelling and making big strides for our country,” he said, highlighting the collaborative spirit behind the show.
Dotol Nastra also reaffirmed the project’s dedication to promoting local music genres, such as merengue, bachata, and salsa. He hopes that audiences outside the country will appreciate not only the entertainment value but also the rich cultural identity the Dominican Republic has to offer.
