Initially conceived for the original Nintendo Switch, challenges prompted the team to transition to the new console around 2021.
Co-directors Kazuya Takahashi and Wataru Tanaka elaborated on how the Switch 2 allowed them to incorporate advanced features that were not feasible on the earlier console. The upgraded hardware enabled the incorporation of more objects within the game environment, enhancing its visual appeal and immersing players in a more dynamic world. This increase in object density notably complements the game’s core theme of destruction, allowing players to fully experience their surroundings being demolished.
