The United States men’s basketball team concluded the group stage of the 2024 Summer Olympics with an unblemished record.
The Americans handled Puerto Rico with a 104-83 victory to top Group C and secure the top seed in the knockout stages.
Anthony Edwards shone for Team USA, leading all scorers with 26 points. LeBron James contributed with 10 points, eight assists, and six rebounds.
Team USA will probably face Brazil in the quarterfinals. The quarterfinal matchups will be finalized after Saturday afternoon’s Group C match between Serbia and South Sudan.
