The Miami Dolphins are set to complete their preseason on Friday, August 23, at 7:30 p.m. as they travel to Southwest Florida to compete against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Full coverage of the game, including pregame and postgame analysis, will be available for viewers.

The Dolphins began their preseason with a victory over the Atlanta Falcons, though key players such as quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and receiver Tyreek Hill did not participate in the game. Miami’s first-round draft choice, edge rusher Chop Robinson, was also unavailable.

In their most recent outing on Saturday, Tagovailoa completed all five of his passes, including a touchdown pass, during his only series, leading the Dolphins to a 13-6 win over the Washington Commanders. This performance came after he signed a four-year, $212 million contract extension. He showcased his skills by throwing for 51 yards on a drive that culminated in a 13-yard touchdown pass to River Cracraft on fourth-and-1. For the second straight week, the Dolphins secured victory with a defensive stop on downs within their 10-yard line in the final moments.

The Dolphins are aiming to improve upon their previous 11-6 record, earn a playoff spot for the third year in a row, and end a 15-year title drought in the AFC East.

CBS Miami’s Steve Goldstein will handle play-by-play duties, with color analyst Kim Bokamper joining him for commentary. Mike Cugno will provide sideline reports and conduct interviews throughout the broadcast.
