Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, is currently hosting Dollywood’s Harvest Festival, which is running until October 27. This annual event transforms the park into a stunning fall paradise amidst the Great Smoky Mountains. Visitors are greeted with a fascinating autumn ambiance, enhanced by the beautiful mountain landscapes showcasing vibrant fall colors.

The festival is a highlight in Dollywood’s calendar, featuring over 1,700 live performances from a diverse range of musical acts, including Southern gospel and bluegrass, creating a lively atmosphere for guests. Showcasing the park’s commitment to seasonal themes, this year’s event highlights the return of the Great Pumpkin LumiNights, celebrated for its enchanting pumpkin displays illuminated at night. Additionally, a new feature called Candy Corn Country adds a whimsical flair to the Country Fair area, celebrating the beloved fall treat.

With more than 700 live performances scheduled, festival goers can expect to see renowned acts such as Triumphant Quartet, Keith Anderson, and Rhonda Vincent & The Rage. The event also emphasizes the artistry of Dollywood’s craftspeople, who display handmade items like autumn-scented candles and unique glass ornaments that make perfect memorabilia of the festival.

Dollywood showcases an impressive 12,000 pumpkins, including colossal gourds that weigh almost 1,000 pounds at the Colossal Pumpkin Patch. Kids can engage with favorite characters like Harvey and the Pumpkin Master, creating memorable experiences with exciting photo opportunities.

Culinary offerings at the festival are equally enticing, featuring pumpkin-spiced and harvest-themed dishes that delight the palate. Guests can indulge in a variety of tasty options, including smoked pork flatbread, creamy butternut squash ravioli, and sweet treats like salted caramel apple elephant ears and pumpkin whoopie pies.

The celebration of fall extends beyond the park to Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa as well as Dollywood’s HeartSong Lodge & Resort. Here, guests can engage in fall-themed crafts, enjoy seasonal cuisine, and experience intimate live music performances.

With its vibrant atmosphere, flavorful food, and engaging performances, Dollywood’s Harvest Festival stands out as a notable event to experience the essence of autumn in the Smoky Mountains, promising joy and wonder for visitors of all ages.
