PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. — The Smoky Mountains are alive with the spirit of the season as Dollywood’s Harvest Festival, presented by Humana, runs now through October 27. The festival showcases beloved artists, including the renowned Rhonda Vincent & The Rage, who are set to perform from October 5-7 and 13-14. Since joining forces in 2008, Vincent and her band, featuring members Mickey Harris, Aaron McDaris, Zach Arnold, Adam Haynes, and Jacob Metz, have become a celebrated name in bluegrass music.
Notably, Vincent was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2021 and received a Grammy nomination for her work, “Music Is What I See.” The band boasts over 100 accolades in the bluegrass genre, underscoring their impact on the music scene. In 2022, they collaborated with Dolly Parton on the song “Firecracker,” further solidifying Vincent’s presence in the industry.
Vincent has expressed her fondness for Dollywood, a venue she cherishes deeply. “It’s always such a joy to perform at Dollywood,” she shared, highlighting how fans often inquire about her upcoming appearances far in advance. She reminisced about a memorable performance with Parton, recalling the moment she was invited on stage to sing “Jolene,” where she was told, “You are singing lead, and I’m singing harmony with YOU!”
Alongside Rhonda Vincent & The Rage, numerous artists are featured throughout the festival, contributing to over 700 performances. Special guests include the Sidewalk Prophets, Triumphant Quartet, Daily & Vincent, Emily Ann Roberts, The Grascals, Keith Anderson, and The Original Coalminers featuring Emily Portman’s Always Loretta.
Beyond the music, Dollywood’s Harvest Festival immerses guests in autumnal festivities, offering pumpkin-themed culinary delights and picturesque photo opportunities with over 12,000 pumpkins adorning the park. As night falls, the park transforms the pumpkins into a magical display through its renowned Great Pumpkin LumiNights. Dollywood operates daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. during the festival, inviting guests to celebrate the season in joyous festivities. This vibrant celebration not only highlights talented artists but also nurtures a sense of community and joy among visitors, making it an unforgettable experience.
