Dodgers Welcome Back Teoscar Hernández: What It Means for Their Season

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Teoscar Hernández is making his return to the roster after a 12-game stint on the injured list due to a right hamstring strain. On Monday, he was reactivated just in time to add depth to the team’s lineup. In a brief rehab assignment, Hernández participated in one game where he went 0 for 1 but managed to score a run. This season, he boasts an impressive batting average of .315, along with nine home runs and a league-leading 34 RBIs in just 33 games.

In conjunction with Hernández’s return, James Outman has been optioned back to Triple-A Oklahoma City. Outman struggled during his recent time with Los Angeles, batting .125 with two home runs and four RBIs across nine games. Last season, he made a more significant impact with 53 games played, contributing four home runs and 11 RBIs.

The Dodgers are looking forward to having Hernández back in the lineup as they aim to enhance their performance as the season progresses. This addition could provide a much-needed boost to their offense, especially as they navigate through the competitive stretch of the season. It’s always encouraging to see players make fruitful comebacks and contribute positively to their teams.
