He also emphasized the importance of following regulations regarding fireworks usage, which are generally restricted to specific hours—except on Diwali, when they may be used from 5 PM to midnight.
“Safety is of utmost importance, and we encourage everyone to use fireworks responsibly while ensuring that adults supervise children throughout the celebrations,” Mr. Kumar stated. He expressed appreciation for Fiji’s ability to enjoy fireworks, contrasting it with other countries where such festivities face strict limitations.
In a bid to serve late shoppers on Diwali, Mahesh Syndicate will be open from 9 AM to 3 PM, underscoring their dedication to customer accessibility as the holiday approaches.
