This revelation came directly from the studio during a recent update on their official Discord server, where they indicated their initial focus would remain on the Steam and PlayStation platforms while exploring other options. “Will the game come to other platforms? Our initial focus will be on supporting the game on Steam & PlayStation. We’re looking into additional platforms as well,” the team stated.
Just days before this announcement, AdHoc Studio celebrated a significant milestone, revealing that Dispatch had sold over one million copies globally within its first ten days of release. Sharing this achievement via their Blue Sky account, the studio humorously quipped, “2 days. 80 million copies sold. Would’ve been nice. We sold 1 Million in 10 days though. Still pretty good.”
The strong sales signify an impressive debut for AdHoc Studio, which was founded by former developers of Telltale Games, recognized for their skill in crafting narrative-driven experiences. Dispatch combines sharp comedic writing with a player-driven storyline, blending workplace satire with superhero themes. The game is structured into eight chapters, with the first two set to premiere on October 22, 2025, for PlayStation 5 and Windows PC. Following this, episodes will be released in pairs weekly, concluding on November 12, 2025. Promoted as a “superhero workplace comedy,” Dispatch recounts Robert’s journey following the destruction of his iconic mechanical suit, as he steps into the role of dispatcher for a team of quirky ex-villains turned heroes.
