Apple Music has unveiled the much-anticipated Apple Music Replay 2024, allowing users to explore their personalized annual playlists and detailed reports that summarize their listening habits over the last year.
What exactly is Apple Music Replay? Launched in 2019 as Apple’s answer to Spotify Wrapped, Replay showcases users’ top songs, albums, artists, genres, and playlists of the year. This unique feature is available in 39 languages and 169 countries where Apple Music operates.
Not just a fun personal recap, Replay also encourages users to share their insights on social media, sparking discussions and comparisons of music tastes among friends and family.
For the 2024 edition, notable enhancements have been introduced. In addition to showing whether you made the top 100 listeners for an artist, this year’s Replay expands to include Top 500 or Top 1,000 lists for various genres, as well as artists. It also tracks the longest consecutive days that each user listened to Apple Music throughout the year.
Accessing your Apple Music Replay report is straightforward. It will appear on the home screen of the Apple Music app on your device or can be viewed by logging in at replay.music.apple.com. Ensure your iPhone is running iOS 18.1 or later for full access.
Among the most streamed songs globally on Apple Music in 2024 are hits from Kendrick Lamar, Benson Boone, Sabrina Carpenter, Shaboozey, and Taylor Swift. Notably, Billie Eilish has been named Apple Music’s Artist of the Year for 2024, an honor she received previously in 2019. Eilish expressed her gratitude, stating that Apple Music has been a significant supporter of her music from the beginning. Her recognition comes as she earns seven Grammy nominations this year, marking a significant achievement in her young career.
This year’s Apple Music Replay not only provides users with a chance to reflect on their musical journey but also fosters a community of sharing and connecting through shared musical experiences. With continued innovations, Apple Music proves its commitment to enhancing user engagement and enjoyment.
