PHOENIX, Dec. 27, 2024 – Discount Tire, through its real estate division, Halle Properties, LLC, has successfully acquired the Desert Ridge Corporate Center I and II in Phoenix. This acquisition encompasses a total of 275,208 square feet of office space within two four-story buildings built in 2005 and 2007.
Since 2019, Discount Tire has occupied an entire floor at Desert Ridge, functioning as a hub for various corporate operations. Established in 1960 by Bruce T. Halle, Discount Tire has grown to operate more than 1,200 tire retail locations across the nation, employing over 3,500 individuals in Arizona. The company is frequently recognized as one of America’s top-performing brands in customer service.
Dean Muglia, CEO of Discount Tire, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating, “Gaining more office space that many of our people already know and enjoy helps secure our near-term future to create the best, positive working experience while also providing flexibility as we evaluate the needs of our growing operations and corporate presence in Arizona.”
The 12.196-acre Desert Ridge site is conveniently located just 4.7 miles from the company’s headquarters and a mile from another recently acquired 35-acre location. The property is designed with ample amenities, including a three-level parking structure, and is situated near more than 30 dining and shopping options, alongside the extensive Desert Ridge Marketplace retail center.
