Diddy on Suicide Watch as Trial for Shocking Allegations Approaches

Sean “Diddy” Combs has been placed on a “procedural” suicide watch as he awaits trial for three felony charges related to alleged sexual abuse spanning over a decade. Currently in federal custody in New York City, he has been under careful observation by guards at the Metropolitan Detention Center since Monday night, according to a source familiar with the matter.

This type of suicide watch is described as standard for high-profile individuals. Despite the circumstances, Combs is reportedly “strong and focused on his defense.” A representative for Combs emphasized that he is healthy, determined to contest the charges against him, and has confidence in his legal team and the truth.

A judge has denied Combs’ request for bail, but his attorneys are exploring other legal avenues to secure his release prior to the trial. The 54-year-old music executive faces a three-count felony indictment that includes charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution, with allegations dating back to 2008.

Prosecutors claim that Combs used his wealth and influence to orchestrate degrading and sometimes physically abusive sexual encounters referred to as “freak offs.” They allege that these prolonged sexual acts were produced and documented by Combs, who purportedly threatened and coerced women and others to satisfy his sexual demands.

In connection with the investigation, federal authorities reported seizing over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and various lubricants from Combs’ residences, which they allege were utilized during these acts.
